Nextaris is designed to enable Web users to: capture and save both Web content (pages, clippings, images) and desktop files to secure Nextaris online folders; securely access these folders/files from Web-enabled devices, wired or wireless; securely share folders/files (including photos, video, spreadsheets, documents); publish blogs/RSS feeds, and folders; search multiple Web sources and track news; and network with friends, family, and colleagues through spam-free private messaging. Nextaris Mobile provides the same functionality as the desktop-browser version of Nextaris, specially formatted for use on a Web-enabled handheld device. Mobile users can access and share files, send messages, and publish content to the Web. Nextaris Mobile is available now for the Treo, and for Blackberry and other devices later this month. The Photo Album feature of Nextaris allows users to upload single photos or batches of zipped photos from the desktop to the Web. These photos can then be viewed or downloaded from Web-enabled devices, shared, or published to the Web. Nextaris is available as a free service with 100 megabytes (MB) of secure online storage. Users with greater storage needs may purchase a one-year subscription for 250 MB of secure storage for $49.00. (www.nextaris.com) |
