Vivisimo, Inc., a provider of meta-search and clustering software for organizing search results, has announced that BoardReader.com, a site for searching Web forums and message boards, is using the Vivisimo Clustering Engine in an effort to provide an improved search experience and let visitors find items of interest much faster than before. BoardReader.com allows its users to search the 'human-to-human' discussions that exist on the Internet message boards and forums in multiple languages. Serving hobby enthusiasts, it monitors messages at 50,000 message boards. Typical users are looking for answers to a specific question or simply trying to see what is being said about a specific product. Previously, visitors had to browse through pages and pages of results to find the messages with relevant information. The Vivisimo Clustering Engine performs a quick analysis of the messages, discovers the main themes, and combines the related messages into titled topic folders. As a result, users can see the main topics of the messages and drill down into the discussions that are grouped in any folder. (www.vivisimo.com)
