OneFN, an investor network of Empire Media, Inc., has released a new free desktop financial news alert service, the InvestorIntelligenceNetwork. Active investors will have the ability to receive personalized desktop news alerts through a popup, mini-slider, email digest, or a news ticker. Alerts will be filtered and sent based on users selecting their own categories of interest and entering their own personal trigger (filter) words. The alerts will be available by download from OneFN's site and from its partner Web sites. TriggerNews PL, a privately-branded desktop news alerting product from News Technologies LLC, was selected as the underlying technology for the new service. Find.com, the new business search engine, will also be a content and distribution partner for InvestorIntelligence.
