Ovid Technologies, a provider of electronic medical, scientific, and social sciences information solutions, and SIRC, a source for academic and medical sport research, have announced that they will provide free access to SIRC SportDiscus at the 2004 Olympics. SportDiscus, a sports medicine database, will be available to physicians, coaches, athletes, and sports administrators throughout the Pre-Olympic Scientific Congress and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

Olympic Game participants, as well as qualified sports and medical professionals from around the globe, will be able to access medical resources, including the sports medicine database SIRC SportDiscus, as well as journals from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, the BMJ Publishing Group, and Adis International. This information will help ensure that the best quality care is provided to all the athletes participating in the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. These resources will be available through the Ovid Online platform from August 6th to the 29th at the International Association of Sport Information (IASI) Cyber Café, located at the Thessaloniki Hellas Aristotle University campus, Greece.
