Layer 2 GmbH unveiled its new Tag Suggester for SharePoint 2010, a solution that helps simplify the process of tagging and categorizing items and documents in Microsoft SharePoint 2010. The Tag Suggester offers a set of content-based keyword suggestions while tagging, analyzing term store taxonomies and metadata to make intelligent tagging suggestions.

Other features include an additional suggested list of tags, context sensitivity, categorization rules, and full SharePoint integration. The Tag Suggester for SharePoint 2010 is part of the SharePoint Knowledge Management Suite. A free shareware version is also available from Layer 2 for users wishing to try out the solution.
