GlobalSpec, an engineering search engine, has announced a strategic partnership with ENGINEERING.com, a business-to-business Internet marketplace for engineering software and services. The partnership is intended to deliver more powerful search capabilities to ENGINEERING.com users by giving them direct access to SpecSearch, GlobalSpec's search technology. Users will be able to search by specification for products and services from more than 64 million parts in 1,000,000 product families from a variety of supplier catalogs.
