ISYS Search Software, a supplier of enterprise search solutions for business and government, has announced that the Santa Monica Police Department has selected ISYS:desktop to enable departmental search capabilities across its Office of Criminal Investigations and Office of Operations. Based in California, the Santa Monica Police Department will use ISYS in an effort to search police records more effectively, act on new information as it becomes available and connect it with internal and external databases to supplement investigative and intelligence leads. The Department will also leverage ISYS to harvest information from its newly developing Graffiti Abatement System and share this information with other City departments.
