AMEC plc, the international engineering services company, has selected Verity's advanced search, classification, and personalization software Verity K2 Enterprise (K2E) to manage information across its external Web site, AMEC.com, and its corporate intranet, AMECnet. AMECnet is used by employees from a range of disciplines, such as engineering and support functions, searching for data including technical standards documentation, project notes, and HR information. Visitors to the AMEC.com site consist primarily of potential employees, investors, analysts, and clients. Both AMEC.com and AMEC.net are being re-developed to offer multi-lingual capabilities. The company will initially offer Verity K2E English and French Locales.
