Endeca, a provider of search and guided navigation solutions, has announced that Patagonia, a outdoor apparel retailer, has selected Endeca InFront to power search and navigation and provide dynamic merchandising for their online storefront. The new enhanced search functionality was implemented on Patagonia.com in late November. In addition to Endeca Search and Guided Navigation, Patagonia is also using Endeca InFront's merchandising capabilities to promote products and offerings relevant to a shopper's search and navigation results. Endeca InFront Version 4.0 is designed to offer an advanced, integrated search and navigation environment.
