Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) has announced that Nordstrom, Inc. has signed an agreement to deploy FAST Data Search to power the search capabilities of its ecommerce site, www.nordstrom.com. Nordstrom, Inc. is a US fashion retailers, with 147 stores located in 27 states. Nordstrom also operates 31 international Façonnable boutiques, primarily in Europe. Additionally, Nordstrom serves customers through its online presence and through its direct mail catalogs. FAST is receiving revenue from Nordstrom, Inc. for software licenses plus maintenance and professional service fees.
