Los Alamos National Laboratory Selects ISYS Search Software

ISYS/Odyssey Development Inc., a supplier of search software for businesses and public sector organizations, has announced that the Los Alamos National Laboratory has chosen ISYS' retrieval software to search its archives for weapons research. Los Alamos National Laboratory focuses on global security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile. It develops technical solutions to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction and solve problems related to energy, environment, infrastructure, health and national security concerns. To further its dedication to this mission, Los Alamos will add ISYS' search engine technology to its collection of technical solutions. Based on sixth-generation technology, the ISYS suite of search solutions supports more than 30 languages and 125 file formats, including XML, HTML, Word, Excel, PDF, ZIP, and OEM-defined formats. The technology offers natural-language search capabilities, as well as query searching for advanced searches.
