The Washington Times Launches Electronic Editions With NewsStand

The Washington Times has launched its electronic edition with NewsStand, Inc., a provider of digital publishing and delivery solutions. The electronic editions are intended to allow The Washington Times to reach new markets, expand subscription options to customers, and offer new services to advertisers. NewsStand's electronic editions allow subscribers to download digital replicas of The Washington Times directly to a personal computer via the Internet and read the publication offline anytime or anywhere they use their PC. Readers also gain digital functionality such as key word search, direct jumps to desired sections, and article continuations with one click of the mouse. Starting today, single digital copies and subscriptions to The Washington Times can be purchased at www.washingtontimes.com or via NewsStand's Web site. The single copy price is $0.25 for the daily edition and $0.75 for the Sunday edition. Monday through Sunday subscriptions are listed at $9.00 for 4 weeks, $29.25 for 13 weeks, $58.50 for 26 weeks and $117.00 for 52 weeks. Other publications that have already selected NewsStand as their digital circulation service include The New York Times, Barron's, International Herald Tribune, Le Monde, Harvard Business Review, The Daily Deal, The China Daily, The Manila Times, The Australian, and The Globe & Mail.
