China Daily, the only national English-language newspaper in the People's Republic of China, has launched its digital delivery service in partnership with NewsStand, Inc., a provider of digital publishing and delivery solutions. Once downloaded, customers can read the newspaper from anywhere they use or take their PCs. Readers can also use digital functionality such as key word search, direct jumps to desired sections or article continuations, quick scan of two-page spreads, and zoom-in for articles of interest. As part of the business agreement, China Daily will offer paid digital subscriptions and single copy purchases. Global subscriptions are priced at the equivalent of $0.29 per issue. Subscription options are: Mon-Fri, or Mon-Sat, and a special introductory offer is available. Customers can purchase China Daily via digital delivery or through NewsStand's Web site. Other publications that use NewsStand as their digital circulation service include The New York Times, Barron's, International Herald Tribune, Harvard Business Review, The Daily Deal, The Australian, and The Globe & Mail.
