Exeros, Inc., a provider of automated data relationship discovery, has announced the signing of a teaming partner agreement with Informatica Corporation, a provider of data integration software. The two companies' products offer complementary functionality and provide opportunities for organizations to migrate their legacy, hand-coded data integration processes to a commercially supported data integration platform.

Exeros' flagship product, Exeros DataMapper, automates the discovery of business rules and complex transformations between data sets and, using a specially designed interface, generates Informatica PowerCenter mappings. The automated nature of this process drives the migration of hand-coded data integration processes to Informatica's data integration platform.

Exeros DataMapper software analyzes the actual data, not just the metadata, and identifies the "hidden" relationships between data residing in disparate databases and applications. The Exeros approach delivers data mappings, while providing guided analysis and a graphical interface to the analysts.
